Question 1

What is Candidrift?

Accepted Answer

Candidrift is a personal AI diary for guided reflection. Start a text-based check-in when you choose, talk through what is on your mind, and save the finished conversation as a diary entry.

Question 2

How do I sign up?

Accepted Answer

The email and password form asks for your name, email address, and a password between 8 and 128 characters. After a successful account creation, Candidrift sends a verification email, signs you in, and takes you to /dashboard. You do not need to click the verification link before your first session. Google sign-in appears only when it is configured.

Question 3

When can I start a check-in?

Accepted Answer

When you are signed in, choose New check-in from your diary whenever you want. You can start one or more than one check-in in a day; there is no fixed check-in schedule.

Question 4

What happens during a check-in?

Accepted Answer

The first prompt is “What is one thing from today you would like to make a little space for?” You write a reflection, and Candidrift replies with an AI response and a relevant follow-up prompt. You can continue the text conversation, then choose Finish & save when you are ready.

Question 5

What happens when I finish and save?

Accepted Answer

Finishing and saving creates a dated diary entry from your check-in conversation. Your diary shows each saved entry’s date and time. Open an entry to read the conversation again.

Question 6

Is Candidrift therapy or a diagnosis tool?

Accepted Answer

Candidrift is not professional mental-health care and is not a substitute for working with a qualified professional. Check-ins are guided reflection, not therapy or diagnosis.
